Housed in the central half-timbered building of the Coppenbrügge castle ruin, this local museum covers the history and natural surroundings of the town, its villages and the area around. Highlights include Tsar Peter the Great's visit in 1697, the County of Spiegelberg and the pilgrimages to the Ith, such as those to the Spiegelberg Madonna.
