Guided tours lead underground into a mine that is the only show mine in Saxon Switzerland, at a constant 8 to 10 °C whatever the weather outside. Children have their own tour that includes sieving for gemstones. It lies about 30 minutes from Dresden and 15 minutes from Königstein Fortress.
