Besucherbergwerk 19-Lachter-Stollen
Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Niedersachsen
This visitor mine takes you underground into the world of Upper Harz silver mining. The 19-Lachter-Stollen was one of the most important installations of that industry. Guided tours lead into the mountain and the Ernst-August mine, where a water-driven Kehrrad is part of the machinery. Special tours can be arranged for groups and school classes.
