Mountains, timber floating and sheer rock faces are the subject of the Alpineum in Hinterstoder, an alpine museum that opened in 1998. The modern exhibition house has won awards and was named one of the 25 most original exhibition venues in Europe. It is worth a visit in any season, and pets are welcome.
