Here the history of Vegesack in Bremen-Nord is acted out rather than simply displayed: performers lead you through short theatre scenes set in the 19th century. You visit the Lange shipyard, talk with craftsmen, raise a glass in the harbour tavern and try to avoid the harbour master on his rounds. A gallery floor in the building offers a break over coffee or tea.
