Löschboot 1
Bremen, Freie Hansestadt Bremen
Built in 1941 as a fireboat for the German navy, Löschboot 1 later served Bremerhaven's fire brigade on the Weser and in the harbours until 1973. It now lies at Vegesack harbour and is kept as a museum and heritage ship. Its steel-and-glass wheelhouse dates from a 1974 refit.
