Heimatmuseum Mesnerhäusl
Bad Vigaun, Salzburg
This small local museum fills the old Mesnerhäusl, a former poorhouse with wooden shingles, whitewashed walls and flowers at the windows. The low doorways show how old the house is. Headteacher Josef Neureiter saved it from ruin from 1962 and furnished it with objects and tools donated by local people. Visits are by guided tour.
