At the entrance to Berchtesgaden, the Haus der Berge is the information and education centre of Berchtesgaden National Park. The building opened in 2013 on a slope with an open view of the Watzmann. It is a good place to learn about the park before heading to one of the info points at its entrances or out into the mountains.
