Wurzerhof

The Wurzerhof stands on the valley floor of the Winkeltal near Außervillgraten. The farm is documented from 1433; the present buildings went up in 1882 after a flood and have survived almost unchanged, once housing 20 to 30 people. It is an Alpine single-block farmhouse with a larch-shingle roof, still farmed today and also open as a museum.
