Vulkanhaus Strohn

This interactive museum in the Vulkaneifel explains volcanic phenomena in a hands-on way, with walk-in exhibition rooms, information boards, graphics and large photos of active volcanoes. Topics include magma, lava flows, lava bombs and cinder cones. The standout is the lava-fissure wall, about 12,000 years old, six metres long and four metres high.
