Fossils from the Jurassic, when saurians ruled land and sea, are at the heart of this museum in Raubling. Their skeletons were preserved in shale. The fossils and minerals span 550 million years of Earth history, from the Cambrian to the Ice Age, and dinosaurs have their place too.
