The town museum on Marienplatz was founded in 1882 and is among the older municipal museums in Bavaria. Its collection ranges from objects on local history and archaeological finds from the Neolithic to the early Middle Ages, to art from the Gothic period to the modern era. Works of the Weilheim School and other Weilheim artists form a particular focus.
