Stadtmuseum Steyr

Two historic buildings on the Grünmarkt make up the town museum: the Innerberger Stadel and the neighbouring Neutor. The Stadel was built in the early 17th century as a storehouse, when Steyr was the centre of the iron trade, and served that purpose for almost 300 years. The museum has shown local history since 1913 and was renovated and re-planned for 2021.
