Stadtmuseum Hoyerswerda

Since 1952 the town museum has occupied Hoyerswerda's Renaissance castle, a three-storey, horseshoe-shaped building of 1592 that began as a moated castle. The permanent exhibition tells the town's history. The building also houses a gallery and a concert hall, and the castle park has a small zoo.
