On the site of the former Nazi Party headquarters, the Brown House, a modern building in Munich's museum quarter now documents the history and consequences of National Socialism. The focus is on Munich's role as the so-called capital of the movement during the party's rise. It opened in 2015, and Königsplatz is within sight.
