Nadwiślański Park Etnograficzny

Wygiełzów, małopolskie

Beneath Lipowiec hill, with its ruined castle above, this open-air museum shows the timber architecture of the Western Krakowiaks, typical of the countryside around Kraków. The rural buildings gathered here give a sense of how people once built and lived in this part of Lesser Poland. It was set up in 1968 in the village of Wygiełzów.
