Muzeum w Elblągu

Elbląg, warmińsko-mazurskie

This archaeological and historical museum occupies a former malthouse on the Podzamcze site, among the surviving walls and cellars of the Teutonic castle that Elbląg's townspeople tore down in 1454, and the old town grammar school building. In the courtyard stands a reconstructed Viking house from Truso, based on research by Marek Jagodziński, who discovered the settlement.
