Located on Masarykovo náměstí in the centre of Jihlava, this museum is built mainly around regional collections from the Vysočina area. It has branches in Telč, Třešť and at Roštejn castle, so it can anchor a wider day out. The museum first opened in 1895 and today occupies historic houses on the main square.
