Toruń spent centuries as a fortress town, and this museum tells that part of its story. It is one of several branches of the Toruń District Museum, which also runs the Old Town Hall exhibitions, the Copernicus House and the Toruń Gingerbread Museum. It makes a good stop while exploring the Old Town, if you want to see the city as a defensive stronghold.
