This small museum in Železná Ruda tells the story of the Bohemian Forest region, with a special focus on its glassmaking. It occupies a historic building dating from 1877, and the core of the display comes from surviving collections of a local glassmaking family. The museum first opened in 1936 and is a branch of the Šumava Museum in Sušice.
