The museum occupies a 15th-century former Bernardine monastery, including the hall church, cloisters, garden court and dansker. Exhibitions run from archaeological finds spanning the Stone Age to the Migration Period, to local crafts and Jawor gingerbread, with antique gingerbread moulds. Parts of the Bremen Treasure, baroque work by local goldsmiths, are also on show.
