Muzeum Narodowe Ziemi Przemyskiej w Przemyślu

Przemyśl, podkarpackie

The museum in Przemyśl grew from a private collection of Kazimierz and Tadeusz Osiński and gifts from local people, and opened its first exhibition in 1910. It now works from two buildings: the imposing former Greek Catholic bishop's residence at pl. Czackiego 3, and a modern building finished in 2008 that was a Polish candidate for the 2009 Mies van der Rohe Award. After the war it also took over the collections of the Ukrainian Strywihor Museum.
