Muzeum Miejskie "Dom Gerharta Hauptmanna"
Jagniątków, dolnośląskie
This villa in Jagniątków, a district of Jelenia Góra, was built in 1901 for the Nobel-winning German writer Gerhart Hauptmann, to a design by the Berlin architect Hans Grisebach. The permanent exhibition gathers keepsakes from his life and work, including his furniture, letters and first editions. It is a chance to see the house of a writer closely tied to the Karkonosze mountains and Lower Silesia.
