In the Szańce hamlet of Koniaków, this small memorial room honours Maria Gwarek, a celebrated local lace maker. You will see lace caps, shawls, ruffs, collars, curtains, doilies and other lace pieces, among them an unfinished doily of surgical thread she was making for Queen Elizabeth II. There are no fixed opening hours, so call ahead to arrange a visit.
