Muzeum Historyczne w Legionowie

The museum occupies a villa from the 1930s, where a permanent biographical exhibition honours the writers and polar explorers Alina and Czesław Centkiewicz, with photographs, documents and keepsakes. A modern pavilion built in 2008 shows archaeological finds from excavations and an exhibition on the history of Legionowo from 1877 to 1990. A branch, Na Piaskach, is housed in a restored tsarist army officers’ casino from 1892.
