Muzeum Historii Twierdzy Świnoujście

Set in the 19th-century Western Fort on Uznam island, surrounded by a water moat and covering about two hectares, this museum tells the story of Świnoujście's naval fortress. Indoors, mannequins in period uniforms, original small arms, signalling gear and archive photos run from Prussian times to the Cold War, alongside finds from shipwrecks. Outside you can walk among guns, sea mines, torpedoes, minesweeping gear and rocket launchers, and part of the site is old fortress casemates.
