The main site is a town house on Szafranka Street, with branches elsewhere in the city, including the Nikiszowiec housing estate. The collections tell the story of Katowice and cover art, photography and the city's ethnology. Highlights include 26 portraits of the Asymmetrical Lady by Witkacy, photographs by Józef Dańda and Anna Chojnacka, prints by Paweł Steller, and porcelain from local works.
