Muzeum Archeologiczno-Historyczne w Głogowie

The museum occupies the whole of the rebuilt Castle of the Dukes of Głogów and focuses on archaeology and local history. Its collections grew out of excavations, and it began as a specialist museum of metallurgy and non-ferrous metal casting. The castle itself, rebuilt from ruins and finished in 1983, is as much a part of the visit as the exhibitions.
