Museumsdorf Düppel

A medieval village stands at the edge of the Krummes Fenn nature reserve in Nikolassee, rebuilt as it may have looked some 800 years ago. This open-air museum recreates the whole settlement along with its surroundings, so visitors can get a feel for medieval life and take part in it. Archaeological finds show that a palisaded resting place stood here as early as about 1170.
