Museum zur Geschichte von Christen und Juden

Laupheim, Baden-Württemberg

For roughly two hundred years Jews and Christians lived side by side in Laupheim, and this museum in Schloss Großlaupheim tells that story. The exhibition was created by the Haus der Geschichte Baden-Württemberg. A branch in the house at the Jewish cemetery belongs to the museum as well. The story begins around 1730, when the first Jewish families were permitted to settle in the town.
