Sea and coast are the theme of this art museum on the North Sea island of Föhr. The collection holds over 700 paintings, prints and photographs from 1830 to 1930 and from 1995 to today. Artists include Emil Nolde, Max Liebermann, Edvard Munch and Anna and Michael Ancher, plus Dutch painters such as Mesdag and Israëls.
