This local history museum uses its old building, a house from the late 17th century, to present the prehistory and early history of Erding and the town's development. The gold-shimmering extension of 2010 is dedicated to two local crafts: bell founding and loden cloth making. The collection of around 60,000 items includes the Oberding ingot hoard.
