Museum Bückerburg für Stadtgeschichte und Schaumburg-lippische Landesgeschichte

The museum covers the town's history and that of the principality of Schaumburg-Lippe, including weapons and uniforms. There are also fossils, prehistoric finds and a collection of Schaumburg regional costume. It occupies the Schaumburger Hof on Lange Straße, a 16th-century building remodelled in 1607, with a fireplace with late Gothic sandstone sides in its central section.
