On Masarykovo náměstí, in the house numbered 1, stands the town museum of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. It grew out of local collecting in the early 20th century, and its early holdings leaned towards ethnography and archaeology. A small museum, it gives a view of the history and everyday life of the town and its surroundings.
