Marionettenmuseum Salzburg

In the vaulted Fürstenkeller cellars of Hohensalzburg Fortress, historic marionettes from the Salzburg Marionette Theatre are on show. You will meet Papageno and Papagena from Mozart's Magic Flute, a stage devoted to Mozart, and another showing the fortress and the peasants' uprising of 1525. A 3-D animation of Archbishop Wolf Dietrich greets you at the entrance. It suits families especially well.
