Marinemuseum Dänholm

On the small island of Dänholm, reached over the Rügendamm between the mainland and Rügen, the subject is navy and military history. Outdoors stand a Mi 8 naval helicopter, two torpedo boats and mine-clearing equipment. Inside, uniforms, weapons, flags, documents and models trace the history of the garrison town of Stralsund and of the island, where the Prussian Navy began in 1849.
