Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung

A castle-like historicist villa on Frankfurt's Museumsufer holds some 3,000 sculptures from ancient Egypt to Neoclassicism, a survey of 5,000 years of the sculptor's art. The villa was built in 1896 for the textile manufacturer Heinrich von Liebieg and has served as a museum since 1909. It stands on the Schaumainkai in Sachsenhausen.
