Landesmuseum für Kunst- und Kulturgeschichte Schleswig

At Gottorf Castle, this state museum traces the cultural history of Schleswig-Holstein from the Middle Ages to the present. Highlights include medieval art in the Gothic Hall, among it the late Gothic Landkirchen altarpiece, works by Lucas Cranach the Elder, and a Gutenberg Bible. There is also furniture, tableware and a collection of northern European faience.
