Kunstmuseum Dettelbach, Pilger und Wallfahrer

A house from 1487, among the oldest buildings in town, forms the core of this art museum, joined by a two-storey new building. On 335 square metres you will find artworks from the Middle Ages to the present day. The theme is pilgrims and pilgrimage, including the Franconian tradition of walking together in procession and the votive offerings that came out of it.
