Kunsthalle Nürnberg

Contemporary art from around the world is the focus here. The galleries of this Nuremberg kunsthalle host changing exhibitions, and many of the works shown are commissioned for the house itself. It opened in 1967 and also turns to the art of the so-called Second Modernism of the 1960s. The building has a long past as an exhibition hall, endowed by Oskar and Elisabeth von Petri.
