Kunsthalle Augsburg im Glaspalast

The Kunsthalle presents modern and contemporary art inside the Glaspalast, a former cotton spinning mill and weaving works in Augsburg's textile quarter. Hall 1, about 1,100 square metres, is given over to changing special shows, while Hall 2, about 1,600 square metres, displays the city's own collection. The industrial character of the listed building shapes the spaces. An art lending library is also part of the house.
