This cultural-history centre for the western Münsterland stands in the middle of Vreden, close to the collegiate church of St Felicitas. The building, opened in 2017, runs more than 100 metres from the church square along the town moat to the Pulverturm. Besides the museum it holds archives, a library and a reading room, so exhibits and sources on the region sit under one roof.
