König Ludwig II.-Museum

Set within the New Palace on Herreninsel, this museum is dedicated to King Ludwig II. He had the palace built from 1878 in the Neo-Baroque style, modelled on Versailles. Highlights of the building include the grand staircase, the state bedroom and the Great Hall of Mirrors. The palace has been part of a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2025.
