Hypolzmühle
Groß Gerungs, Niederösterreich
On the Zwettl river near Hypolz stands a mill first mentioned in documents in 1382. A sawmill and a fulling mill were once part of the complex, all driven by several overshot water wheels. The equipment survives complete and reflects the technology of the first half of the 20th century. A Francis turbine, installed in 1941, still generates electricity.
