The former Jan Šverma coal mine in Žacléř, where black coal was dug from 1570 until 1992, is now a mining museum. The tour takes you into the Jitřenka adit, a horizontal gallery in the seventh overlying seam. The site also has a skanzen of mine buildings along with historical and geological exhibitions.
