Heimatmuseum Waldfischbach-Burgalben

A former forester's house from the 1910s, a single-storey building with a mansard roof, holds this local history museum on Waldfischbach's main street. It shows rural life in the Palatinate Forest: farm tools such as cabbage cutters and planes, a furnished kitchen, bedroom and living room, and a complete village pharmacy. Another section covers shoemaking from 1920 to 1960. The Heidelsburg Room displays finds from the destroyed late Roman Heidelsburg fortress.
