A walk through shops and workshops from about 1900 to 1960: the old provost's house and other places in town hold 24 historic shops and 14 craft businesses. You will find a grocer's, a bakery, a barber's, a chemist's with darkroom, a cobbler's and a saddler's, plus a schoolroom. It is regarded as the largest shop museum in Germany.
