The Hartmannhaus museum tells how the Allgäu changed from the blue of flax fields and linen weaving to the green of dairy farming. It also follows Marktoberdorf's growth from a farming village to a district town, and the technical revolution brought by the Fendt tractor. The museum has existed since 1980.
