Heimatmuseum Angermünde

Angermünde, Brandenburg

Local history, archaeological finds and literature meet in this museum in Angermünde. It occupies a complex of buildings from 1692 to 1695 on Hoher Steinweg, in the heart of the old town. One focus is the writer Ehm Welk, born in the village of Biesenbrow, whose life the exhibition follows. The local history collection itself dates back to 1913.
