This history museum on Stuttgart's Cultural Mile, between the Staatsgalerie and the music academy, traces the story of the state of Baden-Württemberg. The permanent exhibition fills about 2,000 square metres in a building designed by Michael Wilford and Manuel Schupp, part of the Stirling-Wilford ensemble and worth a look from outside too.
